- Watching Wrath of Khan for the first time in a long time. It's a big pile of cheese, but it's great cheese, and when Spock bites it, iwell, let's just say the room gets dusty and my eyes get wet from all of the dust. I still don't think it should have started a cult, but there ya go.
That said, do ya think Spock really wanted "Amazing Grace" played at his funeral? Does he even know that song? Or bagpipes, for that matter? Actually, Scotty probably told him about bagpipes. Now I'm picturing Scotty jamming on the bagpipes while Spock wails on sax. Let's move on.
- I was listening to sports talk radio earlier today, because I'm insecure and like to feel smart. They were talking about the Auburn-Alabama rivalry, and said "This rivalry has torn apart families!" I think that's more of the sadness that is Alabama than anything else. If your family is torn apart by a football game, then your family is full of backwards, dim, idiotic, small-minded morons with no sense of perspective. And now a scene from Backwards Gimps Theatre:
